You can learn more from our asked questions

Explore our frequently asked questions to get clear, helpful answers about your insurance options and how we can support your coverage needs.

What type of insurance coverage do I need?

The type of insurance you need depends on your personal situation — including your age, health, income, family size, and financial goals. Our licensed agents can help you assess your needs and recommend the right coverage, whether it's health, life, dental, vision, or supplemental insurance.

How do I know if I qualify for financial assistance or subsidies?

If you're applying for an ACA Marketplace plan, you may qualify for premium tax credits or cost-sharing reductions based on your income and household size. We help you determine your eligibility and apply any available savings directly to your monthly premiums.

What’s the difference between HMO and PPO plans?

HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) plans typically require you to use a specific network of doctors and get referrals for specialists, offering lower premiums. PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plans offer more flexibility in choosing providers, with or without referrals, but usually come at a higher cost.

When can I enroll in or change my insurance plan?

Enrollment periods vary depending on the type of insurance. For ACA health plans, Open Enrollment usually runs from November 1 through January 15. Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs) are available if you experience a qualifying life event, such as moving, getting married, or losing other coverage.

Will my doctor or medication be covered?

Each plan has its own network of providers and a list of covered medications (formulary). Before you enroll, we can help you verify if your preferred doctors and prescriptions are included in your plan.

Can I get coverage if I have a pre-existing condition?

Yes. Under the ACA, insurance companies cannot deny coverage or charge more based on pre-existing conditions. We work to match you with plans that meet your health needs without exclusions.
